Skill Set
The Skill Set indicates the topics and sub-topics in which you are an expert and have relevant skills. This is designed to show the extent of your knowledge and skills, possibly including areas not covered by or relevant to the BumperBrain hierarchy.
Each skill set will be displayed as illustrated by the following example showing a single topic with three sub-topics:
Programming Languages
Principally C++ and C
HTML (to 4.0), XML, ColdFusion, Java
Pascal, Basic, Lisp, OCCAM, COBOL
To update your Skill Set fill in the topics and sub-topics in the appropriate fields and click on the Update button. There are no rules as to what you should or should not include in your skill set - include whatever you feel would be relevant to potential inquisitors.
Initially only two topics, each with three sub-topics, will be shown. As you fill in the topics and sub-topics, more fields will be displayed, thereby allowing you to add a many as you need.
To remove a sub-topic or even an entire topic, simply delete the contents of the appropriate field and click on the Update button.
If you browser supports java, you can toggle between the Areas of Expertise, Skill Set and Qualifications pages by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page. If your browser does not support java these links will be displayed at the top right hand corner.
