Statement Of Your Account
Your Statement of Account is a full history of all the transactions that you have made, shown in chronological order.
The Description column indicates exactly what type of transaction has occurred. The three most common transactions are a deposit of funds into your account (the amount deposited will be shown in the Credit column), a withdrawal of funds from your account (the amount withdrawn will be shown in the Debit column), and a transfer to or from your "escrow" account.
The escrow account provides an additional level of security. Money paid to experts for questions will be held in an escrow account for up to 14 days, allowing the transaction to be disputed.
When you ask a question, the required funds will be transferred from your account to your escrow account. The transaction description will indicate the question's reference number - you can see full details of the question by clicking on the reference number. This transaction will be immediately debited from your Current Balance, but funds remain in your escrow account until the question has been answered.
When you answer a question, your fee (minus our commission) will be transferred to your escrow account. The transaction description will indicate the reference number of your answer. These funds will remain in your escrow account until they are released, at which point they will be shown as a figure in the Credit column and be added to your Current Balance.
