Updating Your Computer Details

Your Computer Details will be used when you Ask a Technician a question. When you ask a question, the technician will be able to see not only the details of your question but also all the details of your computer system. This makes it easier to identify any system-related faults and thus enable a solution.

It is beneficial to give as full a picture of your system as possible. Under Computer Make and Modem give the complete make (for instance "Compaq Prosignia Desktop" rather than "Compaq"). Processor, RAM and Harddisk size should include units (Mb or Gb, Mhz or GHz). Under Operating System be sure to give details not only of the make of operating system but also the version (for instance "Windows 3.11" or "Windows 98" rather than just "Windows"). Under Peripherals, Software and Other Information, be as exhaustive as possible.

Click on the checkbox at the bottom if you want to comfirm your Computer Details each time you ask a technician a question.
