We never charge inquisitors a fee to ask a question or post a project, whether or not they get any responses. This means that the price you set or agree with the expert will always be the price you pay.

Instead, we charge experts a commission on the money they make using BumperBrain. We currently charge experts a commission of 15% of the fee earned for answering a question, 15% of the fee earned when someone buys one of their answers or solutions from the BumperBrain Library of Questions (or one of their documents from the BumperBrain Document Library), and 10% of the fee earned for jobs won using our "Invite Bids" service.

In addition, when someone buys an expert's answer from the BumperBrain Library of Questions, the expert will also pay the original inquisitor a commission of 25% of the fee earned.

However, from time to time we may vary our commission schedule, in which case the current rates will be indicated here. Please check back to confirm the commission schedule that is in effect at any given time.
